At NJCU, Dr. John Arango learned about how drugs work, why they are used, how they are made, and when they should or shouldn’t be given.
At TCNH, he studied nutrition, hydration, detox, exercise, breathing, natural remedies, vitamins, minerals, sleep, stress, energy, genetics, and biorhythms.
Through IFM, he gained expertise in digestion, the microbiome, immunity, brain chemistry, hormones, metabolism, aging, inflammation, infection, DNA, and clinical testing.
At IBCCES, Dr. Arango focused on risk factors, genetics, pregnancy, child development, childbirth, lactation, neonatal health, immune challenges, food sensitivities, nutrient deficiencies, toxins, cognitive issues, and non-drug interventions.
At UM, he explored brain structure and function, brainwave analysis, neurochemistry, neurofeedback, clinical psychology, brain disorders, EEG protocols, and coding.
With MWPE, Dr. Arango expanded his knowledge in psychology, neuroscience, trauma, stress, psychopharmacology, attachment, neuroplasticity, therapy methods, emotion regulation, and cultural and social psychology.
Although Dr. Arango specializes in autism, he also helps adults and children with many other issues, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, behavior problems, addictions, learning and growth challenges, digestive problems, allergies, pain, hormone and fertility issues, weight concerns, aging, sports performance, mental health, autoimmune conditions, and more.
Dr. Arango starts with a review of lab work and a basic neurological check, then looks at your medical history, current health concerns, and possible sources of stress. He will also discuss any needed tests and talk about first steps for treatment.
Dr. Arango has the knowledge, experience, tools, and technology to help you heal naturally. Your results depend on how well you work together, your involvement, and following the recommended steps. His work has led to many great outcomes and lasting benefits for patients.

Before your first visit, you may need to schedule a blood test, download an app, and fill out some online forms. Have a list of your medications, supplements, and any medical records ready. Be open and honest about anything affecting your well-being, and be prepared to discuss your health history, personal issues, lifestyle, and concerns. Be willing to make changes if you want to heal.
Dr. Arango creates a personalized plan for you based on a full review of your health and needs. He looks at your brain function, lab results, stress, environment, genetics, diet, lifestyle, activity level, age, and your social, emotional, and mental profile.
Dr. Arango holds a doctorate in naturopathy, is a certified autism specialist and neuropsychotherapist, and is board certified by the American Alternative Medical Association and the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards.
Dr. Arango’s work is completely drug-free, and he does not prescribe pharmaceuticals. If he recommends anything, it will be a clinical-grade plant or mineral supplement that is safe, non-addictive, and designed for a specific benefit.
As a naturopathic doctor (ND), Dr. Arango focuses on natural and holistic care, unlike a medical doctor (MD). An ND is trained in both standard medical sciences and natural therapies. His main goal is to find and address the root cause of illness, not just treat the symptoms.
